Dominic's Family Health Care Center was designed and occupied in 1997.
This facility is located in Queens and houses the following: Main
Waiting/Lobby, Dental Suites, OB/GYN, Primary Care Facility, Pediatrics
Department, Play Room, 2nd Floor Lobby and Waiting Area, Conference
Rooms, Special Care Units, X-Ray Rooms, Social Workers Department,
Rest-rooms for the patients as well as the staff, WIC office and a
parking lot with 17 spaces.
Highlights of the design were the continuous windows high above the
floor. A curved glass block wall, allowing light to enter the lobby.
Bands of masonry units around entire facades creating aesthetically
pleasing facades.
