An addition to the main classroom building, a new auditorium, had to seat 350 students, with ancillary spaces and to be easily accessible to the teachers and students, as well as, for community use. The addition was located in close proximity to two (2) main stairways used extensively by the students and the entrance located adjacent to a main thoroughfare.

The features include a state of the art projection system recessed in the floor of the stage, a lobby designed to showcase the artwork of the students. A special sound-absorbing stage and handicapped accessibility to the auditorium as well as to the stage.
