ACB
was the Associate Architect to TAMS and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill
(SOM) for the design of International Arrivals Terminal at JFK International
Airport (terminal 4). ACB's main responsibilities was the design of
a temporary building for the arriving passengers and meeters, as well
as, contract documents for both new concourses. The temporary building
had to meet a stringent budget, inviting to international passengers
and despite the size of the building (30,000 sq. ft.), had to be efficient
in moving passengers immediately to the exterior.
